The Grace is The Place for Creative Exploration!

This fall we’re offering FREE Workshops for youth 12 years and older - for the chance to explore self expression in various artforms.

  • Oct 26 1-3PM - Creating Characters for Role-Playing Games

Lead by experienced D&D Dungeon Master - Colin Gillis - who will guide and inspire those who are interested in developing a unique character for their next role-playing game.

  • Nov 2 & 3 1-3PM - An Introduction to Comic Book Illustration

Mike Purdy, an expert illustrator, will offer a two-day workshop for those interested in learning more about this fascinating and fun artform. All supplies will be provided!

  • Nov 16 10-12PM - Theatre Improvisation

Join Jenny Dean, director of Lights Up Theatre Company, who will facilitate a fantastic workshop on Improv games and activities. Learn to let go and be spontaneous - and create some very funny scenes on stage.

  • Nov 16 1-3PM - Stage Combat

Jenny Dean will also provide some guidance on how to create physical combat on stage in a safe and fun way. Learn the basics of how to make ‘pretend' fighting look ‘real’.

  • Nov 23 & 24 1-3PM - Creative Writing

Award winning YA writer (author of The Shakespeare Stealer trilogy) and playwright - Gary Blackwood - will lead this two-day workshop on creative writing. Learn from a pro, how to develop a plot and create interesting characters.
